Sieun was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States when he was 15. Sieun was in his senior year at the College of William and Mary, on track for medical school and working as a neuroscience lab manager when he came across an opportunity to sell vacation rentals. He took the position, made $10k his first month (a significant upgrade from his $7/hr. position at the lab) and quickly decided to trade medical school for a career in sales.
In 2017, Sieun experienced a huge loss when a commercial real estate investment went belly up, leaving him with $500 in the bank. Needing to find financial footing, and fast, Sieun took to Craigslist and came across an opportunity to sell life insurance via Symmetry Financial Group. “I didn’t know anything about the industry, but I knew I had a strong work ethic, experience in sales, the desire to help others and the need to quickly create a scalable income.”
Today, Sieun is a Regional Agency Director and has approximately 1,500 clients in his personal book of business. “Over the years, I’ve been approached by competitors with attractive offers. But, I stick with Symmetry for many reasons, namely the honesty and integrity of the founders. Everything they say they’re going to deliver, they deliver.”
