Engage ’26 National Conference Recap: The Elements That Move a Mission Forward

Engage ’26 brought thousands of Symmetry Financial Group agents, Agency Owners, carrier partners and home-office teams to Denver for three days built around a simple but powerful idea: when so much of the modern insurance business can be automated, true engagement is still what sets people apart.

From the energy of the Engage Hub to the Bellco Theatre mainstage, from focused agency huddles to hands-on Breakout Sessions, Engage gave attendees a clear look at where Symmetry is headed and how agents can keep growing with purpose.

For anyone who could not be in the room—or who is new to Engage altogether—the event was more than a schedule of sessions. It was an experience designed to help agents Arrive with intention, Set a higher standard, Move with clarity and Earn through disciplined execution.

Arrive: connection starts before the first session

Engage began with a full day centered on arrival, connection and community. As attendees entered the Colorado Convention Center, the Engage Hub quickly became the gathering place for the week. Agents checked in, met carrier partners, explored booth activations, took professional headshots and heard quick-hit insights from field leaders and partners on the Hub Stage.

That first day mattered because it reminded everyone that this business is built on relationships. The Women+ Experience, hosted by Founder and Chief Well-Being Officer Meredith Ellison, created space for leaders to share honest stories about resilience, impact and growth. The Corporate Overview gave attendees a broader understanding of Symmetry’s direction, while the Symmetry Social helped agents connect across teams, markets and experience levels.

For a first-time attendee, Arrive is about more than showing up to a conference. It is about stepping into a room where people are pursuing the same mission: helping families find protection while building a business with freedom, mentorship and purpose.

Set: standards, stories and a shared vision

Day Two shifted the focus to the Engage Stage, where the Bellco Theatre became the center of the conference experience. Across morning and afternoon sessions, Symmetry’s Founders and field leaders shared the vision, tools and mindset required to build with consistency in a changing marketplace.

The mainstage programming gave attendees a high-level look at the strategic roadmap for the year ahead, including technology updates, carrier alignment and new opportunities designed to support agents in the field. Leaders spoke about culture, accountability, personal growth and the inner work behind sustainable success.

Carrier partners including American Amicable, F&G, Banner Life, Mutual of Omaha and Americo highlighted product innovation, digital capabilities and incentive opportunities that help agents better serve clients.

One of the most memorable moments came from keynote speaker Ed Mylett, who challenged the room to embrace the discipline of going “one more.”

His message connected directly to the broader theme of the conference: success is rarely created by one dramatic decision. It is built through repeated standards, daily habits and the willingness to keep growing when the work gets hard.

The stage also featured Symmetry Stories from agents and leaders who shared personal experiences of perseverance, transformation and belief. Those stories helped turn big ideas into real examples of what is possible when people stay committed to their purpose.

Impact beyond the stage

Engage ’26 also celebrated the charitable heart of the Symmetry community. Through the ongoing partnership with Make-A-Wish, attendees were reminded that the impact of this business reaches beyond policies and production numbers. Symmetry agents have helped raise more than $1 million for Make-A-Wish over the years, supporting life-changing wishes for children and families.

Recognition that reflects the mission

Throughout the conference, leaders and agents were recognized for production, leadership, service and culture-building. Awards such as the Relentless Award, Impact Awards, Servant Leadership Award and the Blue Jacket Presentation highlighted people who are not only growing their businesses, but also lifting others as they grow.

What comes next

The mainstage also looked ahead to future opportunities, including Ignite Conference in Dallas, Spring Fling in Asheville and Engage ’27. These announcements reinforced an important Engage takeaway: growth does not happen in isolation. The rooms you choose to step into can shape your perspective, your goals and your next level of leadership.

Move: mainstage momentum becomes daily direction

The Move element came to life through the energy and clarity of the mainstage. For agents building a career in life insurance, movement means more than staying busy. It means understanding where the business is going, choosing the right activities and aligning daily execution with a bigger purpose.

Sessions on leadership, recruiting, personal development and agency growth helped attendees connect inspiration with direction. Speakers challenged the room to protect focus, strengthen culture, remove excuses and build the kind of habits that can compound over time. Whether the topic was production, team building, operational discipline or personal identity, the message was consistent: forward motion requires clarity.

For someone unfamiliar with Engage, this is one of the event’s biggest values. It takes the broad mission of protecting families and turns it into a shared roadmap. Agents leave with a better understanding of the tools available, the leadership examples around them and the standards needed to move their business forward.

Earn: breakouts turn inspiration into execution

If the mainstage created vision, the Breakout Sessions translated that vision into practical next steps. Day three focused on agency huddles, specialized breakout tracks and tactical learning designed for agents at different stages of their careers.

The breakout structure allowed attendees to choose the rooms most relevant to their goals. New agents could focus on winning their first 90 days, mastering the phone, setting appointments and building early confidence. Producers could dive into digital lead opportunities, booking mastery, advanced markets, IULs, annuities and much more. Aspiring agency builders could learn how to balance selling and recruiting, create leadership rhythms and develop stronger coaching conversations.

For more established leaders, sessions explored agency operations, high-growth culture, cold-market recruiting systems, administrative partnerships, business planning and the path toward higher contract levels. Cross-track sessions also addressed modern buyer behavior, digital storefronts, direct-to-consumer tools, social growth and practical AI strategies.

That is where Earn becomes more than income. At Engage, earning is tied to skill, service and consistency. The breakouts helped agents understand how to turn belief into appointments, appointments into client protection and client protection into long-term business growth.

Bringing the Elements of Engage home

Engage ’26 ended with celebration at the after party, which was an Engage County Fair, but the real value of the conference begins when attendees return home. The three days in Denver were designed to help agents reconnect with the mission, sharpen their standards and leave with clearer next steps.

Arrive. Set. Move. Earn. Together, these Elements of Engage offer a simple framework for what it takes to grow in this business. Show up with intention. Establish the standard. Take aligned action. Build the skills and systems that create lasting impact.

For agents looking for a career with mentorship, community, technology and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for families, Engage ’26 offered a powerful picture of what is possible inside Symmetry Financial Group.
